Obituary of Edith Irene May Thompson

EDITH IRENE MAY THOMPSON Peacefully, on Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at the Community Nursing Home in Port Perry, at age 84. Irene (nee Richmond), beloved wife of the late Fred Thompson (1984). Loved mother of Donald Silverman and his wife Beverley of Port Perry, Fred Thompson and his wife Pamela of Oshawa, and loving mother, friend and travelling companion of daughter Nancy Thompson of Port Perry. She will be sadly missed by her 6 grandchildren and her 8 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Charlie Richmond (deceased) and Ernest Richmond (deceased) and his wife Ila of Ajax. Lovingly remembered by the Community Nursing Home Staff. Greatly missed by "The Girls" Chance, Winnie and Hope (paws). The family of Irene Thompson will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Thursday, January 19th from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at 1:30 p.m. with Major John Gerard officiating.
