Obituary of Josephine Mary Mitchell

JOSEPHINE MARY "JO" MITCHELL Peacefully after a short illness, on Saturday, December 3, 2005, at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry. Jo (nee McCaffrey), beloved wife of Al Mitchell of Seagrave. Loved daughter of the late John and Georgina McCaffrey. Survived by her sister Helen and predeceased by her brothers Ed, Pat and Frank. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces Pamela, Caroline and Joanne and her nephew John. The family of Jo Mitchell will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Monday, December 5th from 7 – 9 p.m. A Prayer Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, December 6th at 11 a.m. with Father Peter Lackmanec officiating. Visitation will then take place in the Fitzpatrick Funeral Home in Saint John, New Brunswick on Friday, followed by a Funeral Mass on Saturday. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Saint John, NB. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Community Memorial Hospital Foundation in Port Perry.
