Dear Kate: Since we have talked many times since your Mother's death, you know of my condolences. I'm so sorry for you and your family. Your Mom was such a wonderful and warm person - and I'm sure you have zillions of wonderful memories. The last time I saw her was at your wedding and my recollections are that she was so vibrant and happy. She throughly enjoyed herself that day, and was so pleased about your marriage. I especially remember her warm and sincere hug and wishes for me. Though this is probably the most difficult time of year to lose your Mother, you can be comforted knowing that she did not suffer, and is now at peace. I know that you are busily, efficiently dealing with all the administrative tasks and have so successfully organized and handled all of it. But,... next week when you are finished it, you will need to take some deep breaths and take some time for yourself. I again wish you, and all your family my thoughts and hopes that you will celebrate her life with remembering all the wonderful times and the close relationship that you had with your Mom. I am so sorry that I was out of town at my parents and missed the funeral - I so wish I could have hugged all of you. Sincerely, Wendy Koger (Scarborough)

I was so surprised when I read in the paper of your mothers passing. We shared a room in Oct. at the Port Perry Hospital. She seemed to be coming along quite well. When they moved her to another room we still visited back and forth. I was glad to have meant her and enjoyed our talks as we were both recovering. I am sure you all have wonderful memories. My deepest condolences to all of Mays family.
