Obituary of Stanley Grant Watson
STANLEY GRANT WATSON
(Veteran WW II with the 7th Anti-Tank Regiment, Supervisor for 18 years at General Motors)
After a long struggle with Parkinson’s disease, on Wednesday, October 28, 2004 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 81. Grant Watson of Port Perry, dearly loved husband of Muriel (nee Tripp). Loved father of Janet (Michael Geremia), Dale (Susan), Larry (Michelle), Garnet (Maryann), Randy (Denise) and Dennis Watson. He will be sadly missed by his 13 grandchildren. Survived by his sisters Bess and Anne and his brothers Don and Harry and predeceased by his sisters Bella, Kate, Stella, and his brothers Jim, Walter, George and Doug. The family of Grant Watson will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905 985-2171) on Friday, October 29th from 2 �" 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, October 30th at 11 a.m. with Reverend Julie van Haaften officiating. Interment Wilberforce Cemetery at 3 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Parkinson Society of Canada or the Community Memorial Hospital Foundation in Port Perry.
