Obituary of Fred Melbourne Phinney

FRED MELBOURNE PHINNEY (Member Royal Canadian Legion Branch 419, Port Perry) Peacefully, on Tuesday, September 28, 2004, at his home in Port Perry, at age 75. Fred Phinney, beloved companion of Mary Robertson. Loved father of Ronald Phinney and Sharon Gray of Caesarea, Donald Phinney and his wife Judy of Prince Albert, and Gayle and her husband David Page of Port Perry. Loving Pup of James, Nina and Doug, Ian, Mike, and Rick and Angie, and Puppy to Mackenzie, Ryan, Tyler, Brittany, Jacob, and Jaden. Dear brother of Audrey and her husband Chester Noiles, Jack Phinney and his wife Carol, Wallace Phinney and his wife Kay, Thomas Phinney, and Joan Aldred. Fred will also be missed by Mary’s children. The family of Fred Phinney will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905 985-2171) on Thursday, September 30th from 7 - 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel on Friday, October 1st at 11 a.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Community Memorial Hospital Foundation in Port Perry or to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
