Obituary of Gerald Douglas MacTavish

GERALD DOUGLAS MacTAVISH Entered into rest peacefully, on Sunday, June 29, 2003 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 72. Gerry MacTavish of Port Perry, dearly loved husband of Rosalyn. Beloved father of Jean Holtby and her husband Robert of Port Perry, Marilyn Copeland of Bradford, and Liza Bales of Toronto. Dear brother of Harold MacTavish of Toronto. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Allison, Joshua, Darryl, Wendy, Carina, Sarah, Joel, Steven, Stephanie, Vanessa, Shane, Keaton, Jesse, and his great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Rev. and Mrs. Frederick MacTavish and his sister Jean Evelyn. Relatives and friends will be received at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905 985-2171) on Wednesday from 7 �" 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 �" 4 and 7 �" 9 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of Gerry MacTavish will be held at the Port Perry United Church (294 Queen Street) on Friday, July 4th at 11 a.m. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert.
