Obituary of Betty Ann Freeman

Peacefully, on Monday, July 22, 2024 at her daughter’s home in London. Betty Ann (nee Jones), beloved wife of the late Roy Freeman for 56 years. Loving and cherished mother of Tammy and her husband Mike Callahan, and Randy and his wife Elizabeth. Proud grandmother of Melinda Ann Callahan. She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Betty Ann was born January 22, 1939 in Burnt River to Wallace and Teenie Jones. She was predeceased by her brothers Horace, Morace and Merle. Betty Ann drove a school bus for 25 years for Freeman Bus Lines. She was a Charter Member of the Scugog Island Women’s Institute and was a longtime member of the Scugog Island UCW.

 

The Family of Betty Ann Freeman will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Thursday, July 25th from 10 – 11 a.m.  A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment Burnt River Cemetery.
