I used to stay with my Nanny June every summer as a kid, in her sprawling townhouse, always with a dog by her side. My summer was filled with laughter, dancing, Sara Lee cakes (her favourite), episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful, and walking the mall. I relished every second of it.
Nanny June will always live on inside me, in my love for dogs, a good meal, and now in my journey as a Mother. I see her in my own Mom, in my Aunties. And, of course, every time I hear a Bon Jovi song.
I love you sweet, Nan. Thank you for showing us all the way.

Nanny - I will always remember what a light you were. You brightened the lives of everyone around you and I'm so thankful that you touched my life.
I'll always remember you visiting us out West, dancing to the Looney Tunes with me - it's one of my earliest memories. I remember visiting you as well in Toronto and no matter what, you'd take me to the mall and spend countless hours shopping with me because you knew it made me happy (even when your "dogs were barking"). You always could make us laugh.
I love you Nanny. Rest in peace.

My Nanny will forever have a special place in my heart. As children, my Sister, Carly and I loved taking trips to visit Nanny and Papa at the cottage in Castleton, where Nanny would take us to the General Store for treats and trinkets, and to the park where she would play with us for hours. Truly, a kid at heart, our Nanny was always a joy to be around, and had so much love and kindness to give. And of course, she would have us laughing for hours with her dances and funny sayings! I will always hold the countless memories dear. Rest in peace, Nanny.
Love always,
your granddaughter Camille, Chris
and your great-grandchildren, Leah and Kyle

Our dear Nanny - we have so many fond memories of you growing up. You were always a laugh with your silly dances, funny jokes and hilarious sense of humour. Even in your last months you were making funny jokes that only you could. You were always such a strong woman and so independent for so long and we have always been so proud of you. To this day I know I still have many “nanny-isms” I am happy to say came from you.
We love you so much, rest in peace sweet Nanny.
Love your granddaughter Carly, Chris, great grandsons Brady and Taylor

My Auntie June was the kindest most fun person you could meet. Her husband Russell and children were her priority. She loved people and socializing, was always warm and welcoming. I remember many fun weekends and cottage vacations with the family. June often invited us for Sunday dinner and we always had a great time. Rest easy Auntie June, you will be remembered with love and affection always. Many condolences to Laura, Gail, Nancy, Jimmy and their families.
