Obituary of Minnie Irene Ayling

Peacefully, on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Port Perry Place, at age 95. Minnie (nee Kerr) of Port Perry, beloved wife of the late Victor C. Ayling. Loving mother of Margaret “Peggy” Brown, Brenda Shaw (Steve), Barbara King (Richard) and Tom Ayling (Jo-Ann).  Loved grandmother to her 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Daughter of the late Eliza and Tom Kerr of Manitoulin Island. Predeceased by her brothers Carl in British Columbia and Roy in Nova Scotia.

Minnie and Victor enjoyed organized curling for many years, and competitive shuffleboard at their winter home in Clearwater, Florida. Later, Minnie was an active member of the Port Perry Lawn Bowling Club. She was also an avid euchre player. Her family will take her home this summer for burial at Hilly Grove Cemetery, Manitoulin Island. Minnie lived life to the fullest and did it her way. We will miss you.
