Obituary of Lindsay Lee Barkwell
On Sunday, September 3rd, 2023 we lost an amazing woman whose kindness, sense of humour and beautiful smile are going to be missed tremendously. Her passing at the age of 70 is much too soon but we know she is in the loving arms of her husband and family who have gone before her. Lin (nee Klyne) of Port Perry, beloved wife of Orval Barkwell (predeceased) and forever missed by her children Eddy Brush (Ainsley), Steven Brush, Jennifer Shields (Paul), Chuck Barkwell (Dora), Jeff Barkwell (Lisa), and Kathy Roznicki (Adam), her grandchildren Shaylin, Tyler, Dylan, Alyssa, Mallorie, Caitlin, Daniel, Ethan, Jay, Dylan, Lauren, Hailey, Logan (predeceased), Ella, Jacob and Zachary and great grandchildren Jayson, Abigail, Charlie, Molly, Fionn, Josie, Clark and T.J. Treasured daughter of Lawrence & Aldea Klyne (predeceased) and sister of Kathy Bazley (Danny). She was predeceased by her siblings Ronnie Klyne (Debbie), Fay Pratt (Tommy) and Bev Brown. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Our precious Queen Linny will be forever in our hearts.
The family of Lindsay Barkwell will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Monday, September 11th from 1 – 2 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at 2 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Diabetes Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
