Obituary of Ken Trevena
Passed away peacefully after a short illness, on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at the Campbellford Memorial Hospital, at age 89. Ken Trevena, formerly of Port Perry had an accomplished career as Herdsman and Farm Manager most notably at Hanover Hill Holsteins where he was world renowned as one of the most influential Holstein breeders. Ken, beloved and loyal husband of the late Virginia “Ginny” (nee Phelps). Loved father of Steven Trevena of Port Perry, Kenny Trevena (Kerry) of Buffalo, NY, Lisa Trevena Perry of Havelock, and Stephanie Trevena (Sean Ellis) of Prince Edward County. Loving grandfather of Justin, Brooke and Jake and great grandfather of Savannah, Kayden, Isla and Oaklynn. Dear brother of Ronald “Soapy”, Shirley, Maryanne, Marylee, and the late Raymond and Diane.
The Family of Ken Trevena will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Friday, August 18th from 6 - 8 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, August 19th at 11 a.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Campbellford Memorial Hospital Foundation.
