Obituary of Nancy Elizabeth MacFarlane

Nancy passed away at home on Friday, April 14th, 2023 surrounded by her family after a short, but valiant fight against cancer. She was 65 years old. Nancy was born on December 9th, 1957 to Merritt and Mae Coalter in Willowdale, Ontario. Here she would go on to meet her beloved husband of 45 years, Pat. She was a doting mother, wife, and friend to all who knew her. Nancy and Pat have two daughters, Brittany (Matt) and Samantha (Andrew). Proud grandmother of Emerson, Madeleine, and Carter. Sister of Carolyn Ratcliff (Bud) and Gary Coalter (Judy). Sister-in-law of Debby, Susinn, Cathy, Ann, Peter, and Charlene. She will be dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Nancy’s battle was fought with great courage, and a smile. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Odette Cancer Centre at the Sunnybrook Hospital.

The Celebration of Life for Nancy will be held on June 18, 2023 from 1:00pm-4:00pm at Oakview Terrace Reception Centre, 13256 Leslie St, Richmond Hill, ON.  All of those touched by Nancy are encouraged to join.
