Obituary of Rozalia Hajdu

Peacefully, on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Port Perry Place, at age 93. Rose (nee Kovacs), beloved wife of 67 year to the late Bela Hajdu. Proud mother of Barbara (the late Mike), Steve (Marilyn), and Bill (Leslie). Loving grandmother of Mark (Kim), Chris (Amy), Angela (Jay), Mathew, and Geoffrey and great grandmother of Abby, Elsa, Clara, and Iver.  Rozalia and Bela were refugees from the Hungarian Revolution in 1956. They became proud Canadian citizen in 1962. They were the owners of a Tailoring business in Oshawa from 1963 until their retirement. Special thanks to the staff on the 3rd floor of Port Perry Place for treating mom like a family member.

A private family celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert.
