Obituary of Gordon Lloyd Mahaffy
After a lengthy illness on Monday, January 9, 2023, at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, at age 70. Gord Mahaffy, beloved husband of Janice Barber of Lindsay. Loving father of Natalie Mahaffy (Chris Belonzo) of Oshawa. Loved grandfather of Farren. Stepfather of Tim Skam and Richard Skam. He will be missed by his stepgrandchildren Fiona Skam and Jackson Skam and their mother Valerie Ewen. Dear brother of Wayne (deceased) and his wife Linda of Oakwood, Bill and his wife Lynda of Manilla, Sharon and her husband Don Fee of Blackstock and the late Shelley Mahaffy. Predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Audrey Mahaffy. Gord will be remembered by his nieces and nephews, and his many friends.
The family of Gordon Mahaffy will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel" 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Saturday, January 14th from 9 – 11 a.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment Prince Albert Pine Grove Cemetery.
