Obituary of Glenna Kathren Staniland

Suddenly on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at her home in Blackstock, at age 75. Glenna (nee MacLeod), beloved wife of Grant Mitchell of Blackstock, and the late Brian Staniland. Loving mother of Tracy Staniland (Bill), Steve Staniland (Karen), and Mike Staniland (Rachelle). Loved nana of Jack, Julia, Luke, and Olivia. Dear sister of Helen Johnson (the late Doug), Jo Ann Hunter, Bonnie Charuk, Jim MacLeod (Glenna), Randy MacLeod (Donna), Sheila Carr, and the late Leonard MacLeod. Glenna will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.

The family of Glenna Staniland will receive friends at the  WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Sunday, November 20th from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. A Service to Celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel on Monday, November 21, 2022 at 11 a.m. Interment St. John’s Anglican Cemetery, Blackstock. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Port Perry Hospital Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
