Peacefully with family by his side on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at the Sunnybrook Veterans Centre in Toronto. Wilf Yorke, beloved husband of the late Lynn Yorke. Loved father of Kevin Yorke of Gore Bay and Colleen and her husband Kevin Smith of St. Catharines. Loving grandfather of Jackson (Samantha), Matthew and Patrick and great grandfather of Lily and Benjamin. Survived by his sisters Marjorie Branton and Eileen Veldhoven and predeceased by his brothers Ralph Yorke, Lewis Yorke, James Yorke, Cecil Yorke and Wayne Yorke and his sister Patsy Butts.
The family of Wilf Yorke will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel" 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Friday, September 2nd from 6 – 8 p.m. A Service to Celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, September 3rd at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Sunnybrook Hospital Foundation Operation Raise A Flag or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
