Obituary of Catherine Joan Hale

Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, at age 85. Joan (nee Ross) of Whitby, beloved wife of the late Dr. James L. Hale. Loving mother of Jamie Hale and his wife Lynn of Millbrook. Loved “Gramma J” of Kristin and her husband Alex Henderson, and loved “Joansey” of Connor Hale and his partner Robin Barefoot. Great grandmother of Owen Henderson. Dear sister of Marilynn and her husband the late RJ Smith, Alan Ross and his wife Nellie, Janice(deceased) and her husband the late John Perry, and Linda and her husband the late Elvino Sauro.

We would like to thank the wonderful staff, doctors, and nurses in the Palliative Care unit at Peterborough Regional Health Centre – You are remarkable people. Private interment Groveside Cemetery in Brooklin.
