Dear Joanne, Carol, Lauri & family,
I first met Larry in Oct 2001 at NSY London, having assisted him with the arrest & extradition of Montpellier. We became friends. Larry & Joanne invited me to their home a few years later. I was made to feel most welcome by them both. I recall borrowing Joanne’s leathers & Larry taking me for my first bike ride on on his Harley (I believe). I was thrilled! We’ve maintained our friendship through the decades. It is truly a privilege to have known such a true gent, a warm, kind man who was a great raconteur to boot!
My heart & sincere condolences are with you Joanne, Carol, Lauri & family.
We hold you close within our hearts and there you shall remain,
To walk with us throughout our lives until we meet again.
So rest in peace dear Larry and thanks for all you’ve done,
We pray that God has given you, the Crown you have truly won.
Fiona & Tara.

Larry was a good friend throughout our public and high school years, being in the same year. I feel fortunate to have been able to reconnect with him and Joann in our later years. One of our own, gone too soon.
Sincere condolences,

Dear Joanne, Lauri, Carol and family,
Both Larry and Joanne were my great high school friends. Remembering our graduation picking up our dates Joanne and Darlene in his Austin Mini. Crammed in like sardines but Larry made it fun!
Other excursions involved a Studebaker or Jeep.
Cherish your family memories and these will provide comfort.
Thinking of you all.

I will never forget!!! The many memories I had the pleasure of experiencing with the Reesor Family.
It started with Larry being one of my first students, when he came to Twin Lake Divers Club in Orillia to become a certified scuba diver, on his quest to enter special services with the OPP.
Joanne and Larry had just welcomed their daughter Laurie into their family about the same time as I welcomed my daughter Laura into our family.
As happens with the OPP services, officers are moved around and we lost contact for several years. This was back in 1975.
Several years later around 1990 our paths crossed again when Laurie introduced me to her Dad at one of our High School Outers Club gatherings. I had gone on to teaching high school in Barrie at Eastview Secondary School and Laurie joined my Outing Club. Carol followed Laurie's lead to become another welcomed Eastview Outers Club Member, and Larry joined several of our outdoor activities and canoe trips.
It was such a surprise for both Larry and I to reconnect, thanks to Laurie. Larry and Joanne have been a pillar of strength to their girls Laurie and Carol. We shared some special canoe trips together which reinforced family values along with respected friendships.
I thank you Larry, Joanne, Laurie and Carol for the privelege of being welcomed into your family. My heart and mind will always remember.
My Love to all of you
Your Friend
Rick Schell
