Brian was a good friend of my father’s as he was to all his friends. Brian was a caring, helpful, generous father figure after my dad passed. Brian invited me to Wahoo in Norland during the summers. We swam, canoed, water skied and jumped off the 2nd story raft in the bay. Brian loved to play horseshoes with everyone and play his records loud. It was social and carefree and I will always treasure those summers. I laughed at Brian’s dry humor. We were both Virgos. He loved traveling and I enjoyed his interesting stories. When I had my son I asked Brian to be his Godfather. I’ll miss our long conversations, we spoke regularly. He loved Kimberly and I am happy the stars aligned for them so they could enjoy a supportive relationship built on love, trust and respect. Forever in my heart Brian ❤

A lifetime of memories can barely be put into a few words that could express how much Uncle Brian meant to me and how heartbroken I am that he has passed. He was larger than life, so generous and supportive. You always had a great time with Uncle Brian!! The adventures began early on and whether it was trips into the city and dinners in China Town or up north to enjoy Gull River they started and ended with a giant hug!! When I moved to Toronto it was Uncle Brian that made sure I came by often for a delicious meal and a good catch up and I always headed home with catering truck goodies – those honey buns!! My life was enriched because he was in it and it makes losing such a great Uncle that much harder. Love you Uncle Bri, you will be missed. Rest In Peace.

The news of Uncles Brian’s passing is so incredibly sad. There are no words that can express what he meant to me as an Uncle. He is going to be missed so much. May he forever Rest In Peace. Xoxo

Dear Kim, words cannot express the sadness we feel at the loss of our good friend Brian. Ken and Brian were lifelong friends and I always enjoyed hearing them reminisce when we came to visit at the cottage. Always lots of laughs and banter! Brian always seemed so happy there and whenever I think of him, I will always picture him in his chair overlooking the water, enjoying the surrounding nature. You brought him so much happiness. Brian will always live on in our hearts and memories.
RIP our dear friend.

Kim, words cannot express how heartbroken our family is at Brian’s unexpected passing. We love Brian and you very much and treasure the great times we have enjoyed together. Please know we are here any time day or night for you. Brian has left an indelible imprint on our families heart and in our lives, and he leaves an incredible legacy. Anyone who had the pleasure to meet and know Brian quickly realized that they were meeting an Original. He was Genuine and he was True. He had many gifts and connecting with people effortlessly was one of the many to marvel at. He had it - any room, any situation. Instant connection. He brought such great perspective to life which made every conversation valuable. The master of the one liner, it was rare he didn’t leave you in stitches laughing by poking fun at how us humans unnecessarily complicate everything. There are so many things we admired about Brian - he loved you, he had fun in his life, YOU made sure of that, and in return he made life fun for all. He was generous and he was kind. Brian lived life to the fullest. A job so incredibly well done!
