Obituary of Pauline Coyne
It is will great sadness that our family announces the passing of our mother Pauline (nee Tees), on Monday, November 23, 2020 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry at age 96. We are at peace knowing she has been reunited with her loving husband Ken Coyne. Cherished mother of Terry (Nancy) of Port Perry, Jane Mason (late Les) (Dale Crockford) of Thessalon, Tim (Sue) of London, and Pam Coventry (Rick) of Thessalon. Mom has left her grandchildren and great grandchildren with such wonderful memories. Stephanie, Matthew and Ann (Justin, Kevin and Aaron), Sarah and Richard (Joanna, Sadie and Punks), Tim and Patti (Katie), Rhonda and Carey (Brady, Mason and Brett), Melissa and Brad (Rocco and Scarlett), Cassandra and Sean (Jack, Nora and Connor), Ken and Caitlyn, Craig and Halli and Emily and Jason will miss her immensely. Mom hailed from Bruce Mines, born to Robert and Maggie (Smyth) Tees. Predeceased by her loving siblings Dave (Zena), Joe (Annie), Ada (Cliff), Cora (Mans), Doug (Fay), Alan (Olive), Jack (Thelma), Catherine (Jim) an Gregor (Nonnie). Treasured sister-in-law of Margaret and Richard Metcalfe and Elizabeth and Jim Cameron. Fun-loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews…she cherished each and every one of you xoxo.
A special thank you to all of mom’s friends and relatives who spent time with her in person or on the phone. We know she made it into her 97th year because of your love and support.
Many thanks to Andrew Metcalfe and the staff on Apple 2 at the FJ Davey Home for the wonderful care and friendships received while mom lived there. She thought the world of you all.
A huge thank-you to the Doctors, nurses and staff at the Port Perry Hospital for the compassion given to mom during her final weeks.
