Mike and Dahna - The loss of a child is something I can only image. This young man was taken from you for reasons only God can know. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I will remember him as the little boy who wished all his competitors to "win a medal". A true gentleman at such a young age. May the comfort and understanding of others help you through your sorrow, and may time and memories give you strength through each tomorrow. With sympathy

Dear Dahna, We were so deeply sorry to hear of the loss of your precious son. We cannot begin to imagine your pain and sorrow and pray that God will hold you in the palm of His hand to give you strength and peace. The outpouring of tributes clearly indicates how much Don was loved and how many people he touched in his life. I remember you telling me, at New Director Academy, about Don and it was quite evident that you were so proud of him and had a very close relationship. May you find comfort in all of the beautiful memories you have created together and in knowing that you were such an important part of his life. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Mark & Peggy Gaynor

The loss of a young soul leaves a emptiness in the hearts of all who loved him. Left behind are memories, precious memories that can never be erased. Mike, everytime you hear the wind rustle the leaves the trees, you will hear his voice and feel comforted. Dahna, when an evening breeze touches your cheek, you will feel his hand caress and comfort you. Love is everlasting. Years ago, as a babe, he sat on our laps in arenas. Now he sits on the knee of the Almighty.
