Obituary of Elsie June Wilson

ELSIE JUNE WILSON ~ Peacefully, on Friday, June 16, 2000, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at age 78. Elsie (nee Barsotta), beloved wife of Charles Wilson of Scugog Island. Loving mother of Marlene and her husband Don Short of Waterdown, and Bob Wilson and his wife Joan of Toronto. Loving grandmother of Ken, Debbie, Cheryl, Brad, and Kristina, and great grandmother of Kyle, Kaitlynn, and Athena. Dear sister of Shirley and Doreen. Elsie will be lovingly remembered by her brothers and sisters-in-law, her nieces and nephews, and friends. Relatives and friends were received at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (985-2171) on Sunday from 4 – 8 p.m. A Service to celebrate the life of Elsie Wilson was held in the Chapel on Monday, June 19th at 11 a.m. with Reverend John Griffen officiating. Interment Thornton Cemetery, Oshawa. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Community Memorial Hospital Foundation in Port Perry.
