Our condolences to the Moir family on the loss of your Dad. I know my parents (Doug and Mary Cameron) shared many good times with Bob and Mary at Six Foot Bay and I always looked forward to Bob's "royal" wave when passing by his trailer. Take comfort in all your great memories. Linda and Steve Wilson

My thoughts and prayers to The Moir family.Bob was a devoted family man for sure and is now reunited with his dear Mary.We were conworkers and friends.Working with Bob at 54 Division was the highlight of my career. His leadership and ability to put people at ease was why the atmosphere at the station made you want to come to work.Bob,s sense of humour was legendary and you had to be on your toes else you would be one his victims. He always found time to assist younger inexperienced officers with their duties. When ever Bob,s name is mentioned to someone they would laugh or chuckle and tell a story about him.I hope God is ready for him. Some people go through life wondering if they made a difference…Bob Moir didn’t have that problem.I will miss his daily text messages and friendly banter.Rest in Peace old friend. We have the watch now.

The world seems a little less bright without the humor of Mr.Moir in it. From a young age I've had the pleasure of having him in my life, from visiting the station to see my dad or even up to the most recent years of having him be able to send a text check in or a funny video. I always loved at 12pm he would tell me to face south to share a little wave to one another while he was on vacation. I feel incredibly honored to have known him and I can only imagine the loss his family feels. To know he is with Mary again makes my heart so happy.
Mr. Moir you will be missed. Sending love to all the members of the Moir family. Xo
