Obituary of Douglas Johan Plitz
Peacefully, on Monday, August 5, 2019 at Brookside Retirement Home in Richmond Hill, at age 95. Doug Plitz beloved husband of Carol (nee Blenkarn). Loving father of Kelly Plitz of Port Perry. Loved grandfather of Waylon and Wyatt Roberts. Dear brother of the late Rita and her husband Robert Barr of Whistler, B.C, Victoria and her husband the late Kenneth Balsdon of Pickering, the late Mary Littlefair of Oshawa, the late Susan Sauve of St. Catharines, the late Beatrice and her husband Allen Marchant of Pickering, the late Sandra and her husband Raymond Jackson of Whitby, the late Ernest Plitz and his wife Irene of Ajax, the late Gustav Plitz and his wife Hazel of Port Perry, the late Edward Plitz and his wife Ester of Pickering, and Ingrid and her husband Al Toms of Pickering. Doug will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
The family of Douglas Plitz will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, “McDermott-Panabaker Chapel” 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Thursday, August 15th from 7 - 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel on Friday, August 16th at 11 a.m.
