Obituary of David Johnston

DAVID JOHNSTON After a lengthy illness, on Sunday, July 22, 2007 at the Community Nursing Home in Port Perry, at age 72. David Johnston of Port Perry, beloved husband of the late Gloria (nee Gray). Loved father of Lynne Davies and her companion Henry Wygerde (deceased) of Port Perry, Joy Kerr of Port Perry, Dennis Johnston and his friend Melissa of BC, Lorne Johnston and his wife Rhona of BC, Heather and her husband Randy Boivin of BC, Allan Johnston (deceased) and Cynthia Johnston (deceased). Remembered by his sons-in-law Rob Kerr of BC, and Mike Davies of St. Thomas. He will be sadly missed by his 16 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and his many nieces and nephews. Dear brother of Chuck Johnston and his wife Joan, Clyde Johnston and his wife Lucy, Hugh Johnston and his wife Evalyn, Lloyd Johnston (deceased) and his wife Lois, Bob Johnston (deceased) and his wife Alberta, James Johnston (deceased) and his wife Nancy, and Carol (deceased) and her husband Raymond Wagg (deceased). The Family of David Johnston will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Friday, July 27th, 2007 from 2 – 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, July 28th, 2007 at 11 a.m. with Reverend Karen Bursey officiating. Interment Groveside Cemetery, Brooklin.
