LEONA LUCILLE BUTSON
Peacefully, on Monday, November 26, 2007 at the Community Nursing Home in Port Perry, at age 88. Leona Butson and formerly Ptolemy (nee Prentice) of Port Perry, beloved wife of the late Milton Butson and the late Cecil Ptolemy. Loving mother of Bill Ptolemy and his wife Laurel of Blackstock, Clare and her husband Reid Stainton of Port Perry, Ann (deceased) and her husband Rodney Chandler of Scugog Island, Irene Ptolemy (deceased) of Oshawa, and stepmother of Elaine and her husband Bill Pacholuck of Vancouver Island. Loved grandmother of Cheryl Davis, Trevor Chandler, Kathy Hoogeveen, Robin Luchka, Allin Chandler, Leanne Ashbridge, Bill Doupe, Annette Stainton, Tracy Bodnar, and step grandmother of Wayne and Bob Pacholuk, and great grandmother of 15. Dear sister of Edwin Prentice and his wife Margaret (deceased) of Wilmot Creek, and Kay (deceased) and Al Johnston (deceased) of Sudbury. The Family of Leona Butson will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel" 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Tuesday, November 27th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, November 28th at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dean Bursey officiating.
