Obituary of Mina Elizabeth Steer

MINA ELIZABETH STEER (Retired teacher Durham Board of Education) Peacefully, on Saturday, December 30, 2006 at the Community Nursing Home in Port Perry, at age 83. Mina (nee Dobson), dearly loved wife of Dick Steer of Uxbridge and formerly of Port Perry. Loving mother of John Steer and Margaret Steer. Mina will also be missed by her nieces and nephews. The Family of Mina Steer will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel" 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Tuesday, January 2nd from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, January 3rd at 11 a.m. with Reverend John Staples officiating. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to Port Perry Hospital Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of Durham Region.
