I was very sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs. Keast. I met Mrs. Keast while working at the Brooklin Branch Library where she often came in. She had a passion for reading and I was always happy to supply her with her next batch of good reads. When I was pregnant with my first child, I remember asking her if she knew how to do a particular stitch on this blanket I was knitting (or rather trying to knit) She took over the knitting and my baby had a beautiful blanket and many other knitted items to keep her warm. I was so grateful She did the same for my next child. I will always remember her beautiful laughter and a great sense of humour as she told me her stories of living in Northern Ontario. She was a true 'lady' and I will always hold her dear to my heart. She will not be forgotten. My deepest Sympathy, Sandra Mammone
